Taylor in the Hospital

11/7/08 Taylor gave us quite a scare! While at Angelo's soccer practice she started spitting up blood (not a lot but just enough to scare the crap out of me). I took her to the ER where they put an IV in her foot to run tests. The blood tests came back abnormal, and they found blood in her stools so they decided to admit her and monitor her in hopes that after 24 hours that the blood would be gone.
I immediately stopped breast feeding because there was a strong possibility that it was coming from me. When we got to our room not only did she have an IV in one foot but they put 2 monitors on the other foot (one to monitor the oxygen level in her blood and one to make sure she did not leave the hospital). Which made it very difficult for Taylor because she loves to sleep on Daddy's shoulder and fold her feet up . They also came in and checked her temperature and blood pressure every 4 hours. Thank God! After exactly 24 hours the blood was gone. Yeah!
It has been 3 weeks now and we have not seen any blood. I hope we do not ever have to do that again!

Happy Birthday Shane!

For Shane's B-day Angelo and I picked up dinner from Outback Steakhouse (One Shane's favorite places to eat).

Angelo holding his baby sister. He is such a great brother. Always there when ever I need him or whenever his sister cries.
